A.D.U. was founded by a team from the Harvard Kennedy School, led by Kader Kaneye and Meredith Segal, and is supported by the ILIMI Foundation in the United States.
The What
A.D.U. is the first not-for-profit university in Niamey, Niger and is the first university to offer a world-class education for students from the Sahel region.
The Why
A.D.U. opened its doors to prepare the most exceptional, hard-working, committed young people to lead the development of their nations, regardless of their financial means.
